Mission to Change the World.

I am on a mission to change the world.

Call me optimistic, call me naïve, call me crazy...

But I call it HOPE.

Our children live in a chaotic, noisy, and dishonest world and there's one voice in their life that needs to be amplified...YOURS.

I believe the most powerful words spoken on the planet are spoken by a father and mother.

With our voice we have the ability to tear down our children like no one else can...

but our voice can also build confidence that can move mountains.

When your children are 2,000 miles away, or 2 miles away, or 2 seconds away...does your voice protect, encourage, and comfort if needed?

Do your children EVEN hear your voice? Does it stick?

The last time my dad spoke to me was 20 years ago...

but yet I heard his voice this morning.

How is this possible?

Let me explain.

When I was 19 years old I was snorkeling with my father in Hawaii.

It was AMAZING. Best moment of my life…until it wasn’t.

"Where’d my dad go?"

Next thing I know, I’m pulling my unconscious dad up out of the water.

I swam with him to shore with the help of the life guards who performed CPR.

He didn’t make it.

My father drowned.

I was in shock.

"What just happened? He was right there with me just a moment ago."

I knew my entire life would be changed forever, but I had no idea how.

A few hours later, back in the condo, my mom gave me something my dad was intending to give me on the trip.

It was a letter.

I sat at the end of the bed…weeping.

This letter was everything I needed.

I lost my dad that morning,

yet he still spoke to me that afternoon…

And every day since.

I don’t know where I would be without the letter.

There is power when we put our words - our voice - on paper.

That’s why I’m on a mission to help 1 million dads and moms write at least 1 well written, meaningful, lasting Legacy Letter.

A Legacy Letter amplifies your voice, it cuts through all the noise, it makes your voice lasting, and it connects with their heart.

Some ask me…why only a million? Because you have to start somewhere. : )
